Ombudsman

On the 24th of May this year, the XI Lazio Mountain District "Roman Castles and Prenestini Mountains" named an Ombudsman to guarantee impartiality and ensure good operation of the Public Administration.

WHO IS HE?

The Ombudsman of the XI Lazio Mountain District and the associated municipalities is the lawyer Adolfo Roiati. He intervenes on behalf of the general population in cases of alleged irregularities in Municipality or Mountain District acts or procedures; he does not intervene in the case of controversy between private parties or before Municipalities not participating in the Mountain District services.

FUNCTIONS

The Ombudsman is the party that guarantees smooth progress, impartiality, promptness and correctness of administrative actions. Anyone complaining of omissions, delays or dysfunctions within the Offices of the Public Administration can turn to the Ombudsman.

BEFORE WHOM DOES THE OMBUDSMAN INTERVENE

• The District Administration or the municipalities of Colonna, Frascati, Gallicano nel Lazio Genazzano, Montecompatri, Monte Porzio Catone, San Cesareo and Zagarolo;
• Agencies, Institutions, Consortiums, dependent or subject companies subject to Mountain District or Municipality surveillance;
• Local Bodies with reference to the administrative functions delegated to them by the Mountain District or the Municipalities.
